HotlineBlack provides digital music promotion and outreach services for artists, including outreach to music curators, Spotify playlist curators, radio contacts, blogs, labels, and other music industry contacts.

Because our services are digital and service-based, there are no physical products to return. However, we want artists to feel confident when ordering from us, which is why we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Artists may request a refund within 30 calendar days of their purchase date.

  • Your full name
  • Artist name
  • Order number or the email address used at checkout
  • The service/package purchased
  • A short explanation of your refund request

If your refund request is submitted within 30 calendar days of purchase, we will review the request and process the refund if it qualifies under this policy.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Refunds After 30 Days

Refund requests submitted more than 30 calendar days after the purchase date are not eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law.

After the 30-day money-back guarantee period has passed, purchases are considered final unless a legal consumer right applies.

Digital Service Delivery

HotlineBlack provides promotional outreach services. We do not sell physical products, and no item needs to be shipped or returned.

Once a campaign begins, our team may begin reviewing the submitted track, preparing campaign materials, contacting curators, pitching to relevant contacts, and performing other promotional work related to the order.

If a refund is approved, HotlineBlack may stop any active or remaining promotional work connected to the refunded order.

No Guaranteed Results

HotlineBlack provides music promotion and outreach services, but we do not guarantee specific results.

This means we do not guarantee:

  • Spotify playlist placements
  • A specific number of streams
  • Radio airplay
  • Blog features
  • Label responses or label deals
  • Royalties, earnings, or income
  • Viral growth or social media results

Results depend on many factors outside of our control, including the quality of the song, genre fit, curator preferences, timing, audience response, platform rules, and decisions made by independent third parties.

Our service is based on genuine promotional outreach, not guaranteed placements, guaranteed streaming numbers, bots, artificial streams, or fake engagement.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may be denied in cases involving abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, violation of our Terms of Service, or false information submitted during the order process.

We may also be unable to complete a campaign properly if the customer provides incorrect, private, unavailable, or broken links; removes the track from streaming platforms; fails to provide required campaign information; or submits content that violates platform rules, third-party rights, or applicable laws.

Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card provider, or payment processor. Please allow approximately 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after it has been processed.

Chargebacks

If you have an issue with your order, please contact us first at support@hotlineblack.com so we can help resolve the matter.

We reserve the right to provide proof of service, order details, campaign activity, and customer communications to payment processors in the event of a chargeback or payment dispute.

Legal Rights

This policy does not limit any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
